Vermont: Office of Professional Regulation (OPR)
The State of Vermont has selected CAVU's
eLicense system to coordinate licensing and regulatory activities for the
State's occupational licenses. CAVU was chosen as they were the
only vendor of a proven system that met OPR's multi-board
requirements.
The functionality of the eLicense
system had a successful, established record with similar organizations, and
was designed to include the flexibility and capability to address
the complex requirements intrinsic in diverse umbrella licensing and enforcement
agencies.
The State of
Vermont adds to CAVU's growing list of states
with all encompassing, multi-board agency operations, which include some of
the largest licensing agencies in the country, including but not
limited to, the States of; Illinois, Ohio, Connecticut, and Washington
.
Miami Dade: Consumer Services Division (CSD)
The Miami Dade Consumer Services
Division is now operational
with one of the most robust systems available
for enforcing the County's consumer protection laws and business and public
transportation regulations (e.g. - Passenger Transportation Regulation Division oversight
of taxis and limousines).
CSD's authority entrusts them with oversight of more
systemically problematic licenses in the County including;
consumer complaints, public transportation (e.g. - taxis,
limousines, etc.). In order to properly monitor these issues,
CSD needed a licensing system with strong complaint and
enforcement capabilities, capable of handling the complex
inter-relationships existing in the public transportation
industry between; providers, medallions, vehicles, owners,
drivers, and leasing and insurance agencies.
CAVU's LG-Enterprise system emerged as the only off-the-shelf product
available to adequately handle the needs of a consumer
protection agency with these public transportation regulatory
complexities. Unique features of the system allow for public
filing of complaints via the Internet and enables users to
have a real-time interface to view citations in the courts system,
as they relate to licensed individuals and companies .

Ohio: Department of Commerce
The State of Ohio Department of Commerce recently acquired eLicense software licenses for use at the Real Estate and Professional Licensing Division and for other agencies to be named at a later date. CAVU Corporation has enjoyed a close relationship with the State of Ohio Department of Administrative Services (OHDAS) for a number of years and looks forward to this new endeavor.
The Division licenses Ohio real estate brokers, salespeople, appraisers and foreign real estate dealers and salespeople. The Division also licenses private investigators and security service providers, and registers investigators and security guards, cemeteries located in Ohio, and property located outside of Ohio but marketed in the state.
United States Virgin Islands (USVI)
The USVI has embarked on a project for the total revaluation of their real estate property tax base and modernization of their tax administration system. The Office of the Lieutenant Governor spearheads this project and insists on a fully integrated and efficient tax administration system that excels in customer service to the citizens of the USVI.
CAVU is proud to be a part of the "dream team" the USVI assembled to achieve their goals of automation and excellence. Along with BearingPoint, the primary contractor directing the property reappraisal, and Sigma Systems, who provides the sophisticated and comprehensive CAMA software, CAVU is responsible for the implementation of a proficient property tax billing and collections system.
The total solution for tax billing and collections provided by CAVU includes real property, personal property, business license, and tourist taxes. The
LG-Enterprise system is based upon a citizen-centric data model to enable the use of
the Internet, call centers, and other media for communicating with the public and taxpayers. The USVI will be using the unique integration capabilities of the CAVU
application to allow data to be shared among various other systems of the USVI government, which will improve data accuracy and eliminate duplicate data entry. A senior government official recently stated,
"I am thrilled with the partnership we have formed, and look forward to the benefits this system will provide for our
constituents."
